Lactic Acid Bacteria and Cellulase Improve the Fermentation Characteristics, Aerobic Stability and Rumen Degradation of Mixed Silage Prepared with Amaranth and Rice Straw

The aim of this experiment is to investigate the effects lactic acid bacteria and cellulase on fermentation quality, chemical composition, aerobic stability ruminal degradation characteristics mixed silage prepared with amaranth rice straw. Lactic were used as additives, four treatments follows: control group (CON, no additive), (LAB, additive amount was 5 mg/kg fresh matter), (CEL, 2 mg/kg) (LBC, same in individual treatments). All ensiled for 60 days. dry-matter, crude-protein, neutral-detergent-fiber acid-detergent-fiber degradability analyzed utilizing nylon bag method. Compared CON group, inoculation individually promoted a certain degree. combined significantly increased (p < 0.05) concentrations dry matter, while it reduced pH ammonia nitrogen/total nitrogen, harmful microorganism counts contents acetic acid, neutral detergent fiber fiber.
